The Emotional Memory Game is an engaging Early Years matching game designed to help young children recognise, identify and talk about a wide range of emotions. Using real life photographs of facial expressions, children can develop emotional awareness, communication skills and an understanding of how different feelings may look.

Children simply insert one of the work cards into the baseboard, position the frame over the card and place the discs on top. Players then take turns removing discs to find matching pairs. As each pair is revealed, practitioners can encourage children to identify the emotion shown and talk about situations when they may have experienced similar feelings.

With 5 double sided work cards featuring 80 pairs of real life photographs in total, the Emotional Memory Game provides plenty of opportunities for repeated play, discussion and learning.
